Like a basketball player shooting to score, it’s a win having had the privilege of being the official photographer for the Penn State Men’s Basketball team at the Air Force Reserve Boardwalk Classic Basketball Hall-Of-Fame. There was great action in the game between Penn State and NC State as the players themselves. No matter what angle I’d shoot from, there was always another shot to take. Being a professional in all sports is about focus, energy, and movement. In professional photography, capturing the spirit of a sports event is no different. In these images, I demonstrate my ability for not only being fixated behind the camera but also to capture the adrenaline-packed action, on the court. These shots demand my focus, energy, constant movement, and hard work. In the famous words of Michael Jordan, “everybody has talent, but ability takes hard work.” I work hard as a professional photographer. I shuffle my skills from taking shots in the studio of local athletes to shooting on-location at a basketball hall-of-fame game. I bring a passion for being the best and getting the best shot.
